Campus parties is the most popular social gathering at Karlstad campus.
Often there are themes parties.
Get creative during your stay at campus, don't be afraid to throw a party. The one thing we've learned is this: If you build it, they will come.
Just remember, respect other people's property, and make sure to B.Y.O.B!
Thursdays:
Always a predrink

Tempel (nightclub sometimes opens on Thursdays and it is free for students).

Nöjesfabriken, “the factory of pleasure”.
A former warehouse, converted into a major local venue, where the largest events in Karlstad take place. Expect to go there for major holiday themed parties, such as easter, christmas and halloween, not to mention the beginning of your semester.
There are also live shows and DJ sets, including but not limited to the likes of: Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki, Hardwell and Nicky Romero.
We've always had a good time there, the place has everything, even tapas bars and bowling. But be warned, I remember paying 160kr for two drinks!
