TRANSPORTATION
In Karlsad you will mainly move by the city public buses, Karlstadbuss. You can buy and recharge the bus card in Pressbyrån (various locations, including beside the University). Students usually buy a bus card that is valid for one month (unlimited). Otherwise, add money to the card because without it, a single journey costs double.

From University to Välsviken

From Campus to Forex, System Bolaget & Cinema
Take bus 1 from Campus to Stora Torget.
Facing Waynes Coffee, take first left.
After that, take first right.
Located on that street (Drottningatan street, keep walking straight).
Take the bus number 2 to Centrum or Ilanda direction
and get off at the stop called Lövsvägen (15 min).
Once you get off the bus go to the right.
Take the first left, follow that path and in a minute you will see Lidl across the road.
Take the bus number 2 Välsviken B direction to go to ICA, Jula, and Stadium.
Take bus number 1 at Stora Torget or at the stop located at Drottningatan street. The last stop is Campus.
Also for going to Campus you can take the bus number 2 and take a short walk till Campus. The bus drops you off at Kronoparkskyrkan or at Universitetet.
*Kronoparken is the neighbourhood closest to Campus.
From Campus to Lidl
From Campus to Willy's
Take bus 1 from Campus to Stora Torget.
Take bus 6 from Stora Torget to Willys.
From Campus to University
Take the bus number 1 at Campus and get off at Universitetet stop (4 minutes ride).
From Stora Torget to Campus
From Campus to IKEA
Take Bus 1.
Get off at last stop (IKEA).
Take the time to learn your way around. Karlstad's locations are all rather spread out, memorising the routes for buses, walking and driving are essential.
