If you are a exchange student during Spring you should absolutely visit Liseberg – an amusement park located in the middle of the city.
This is the largest and most visited amusement park in Scandinavia.

You can find very cheap train tickets and it will take less than 3 hours until you arrive. However, you must be aware of the fact that Oslo is probably the most expensive city.
