Karlstad's city swimming pool. It consists of one gym and three pools where you can exercise, play (there are water slides, lagoons, waterfall, climbing wall, outdoor pool etc.) or relax in the spa area.
PRICING
240kr for monthly swimming membership (sauna included).
249kr/month Student Rate for 12 months for Actic gym, classes & swimming.
429kr/month for 4 months for Actic gym, classes & swimming.

From University:Take bus 2 from University to Norrstrandstorget
or bus number 3 to Sundsta. (15mins)
From Stora Torget, bus number 2 to Norrstrandstorget or bus number 4 and 6 to Sundsta bad & idrottshus from the city center (Stora Torget).
CARLSTAD TRÄNINGSCENTER
Located just in front of the University. It is an small gym, with a good atmosphere. If you're a fan of electronic music and are looking for a more intense workout, this is the place for you. Request the special price for students. Aproximately it costs 1600kr per semester.
Karlstad’s university sports association. They offer a wide range of activities aevery day of the week for a goodprice.
GROUP TRAINING
Teamcycle, Aerobics, Yoga, Powerstep, Strength & Conditioning, Cardio
BALL SPORTS
Badminton, Basket, Floorball, Football,
Lacrosse, Volleyball, martial art Shorinji Kempo. You can join them whenever you want and no previous experience is needed.

LIVSKRAFT
Located in university and it has a wide timetible. Reception is open from 11:00 to 20:00 or 18:00 depending on the days but you can access there with your personal key card from 7:00 to 23:00.
You can choose between group or personal training. It also includes jacuzzi, only avaliable during reception hours.
It costs 365kr per month appart from an enrollment fee.
